Transportation Services

transpMedical Transportation:
If you or your children are insured through Washington Apple Health, you can receive assistance with ferry and gas costs for necessary off-island medical appointments. Please contact our office for information about how to enroll in the Medical Transportation Program.

San Juan County Transportation Voucher Program:
This annual program offered through San Juan County can help low-income households with transportation needs including ferry tickets, local taxi fare and some car maintenance and repair services. If your total household income is under $25,000 you may qualify – please contact our office for more information.

Transportation to SJIFRC Playgroups:
If you have an infant or toddler and would like to attend morning playgroups at SJIFRC but have no means of transportation, please contact our office – we can help coordinate transportation to and from our weekly playgroups, via carpooling or taxi service.

A BIG THANK YOU to the folks at SAFE HARBOR INSURANCE!! They held a DIAPER DRIVE to benefit the FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER! IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!! This will go a long way to help out several families in need right here on the island! You even donated an additional $150 to our cause! What a great community we live in!
